I experiense that the same picture may look different on different monitors, so it may appear a bit darker on yours then on mine.
I have two monitors made by the same copany the very same year, and they are practically the same model, only one is a bit wider then the other, but I can't seem to get the same colors, hues and contrasts on both monitors.
On the other hand, maybe it is a bit too dark.
